The Dearness Allowance i.e DA for IAS is fixed at 0% during entry-level career and it increases with promotions and service duration.

The increment in basic pay of IAS Officer was increasing 3% every year at entry-level. The Dearness Allowance i.e DA for IAS was increasing from 0-14% every year during entry-level career.
