Music Theory Basics

2-3 weeks

You don't need a music degree, but you need basics: notes, scales, chords, rhythm, and song structure. This makes everything else easier.

Your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)

Choose your tool: FL Studio, Ableton, Logic Pro, or the free GarageBand. Master the interface, workflow, and basic production techniques.

  • Record, edit, and arrange audio and MIDI
  • Use virtual instruments and basic effects

Beat Making & Sound Design

3-4 weeks

Create beats and sounds that stand out. Learn drum programming, synthesizer basics, sampling, and how to design your own sounds.

  • Sample and chop audio creatively

Recording & Vocals

2-3 weeks

Learn to record vocals and instruments: microphone technique, recording environment, comp editing, and vocal processing.

  • Set up a home recording environment
  • Record clean vocals and acoustic instruments

Mixing

3-4 weeks

Make your tracks sound professional. Learn EQ, compression, reverb, panning, and how to balance a mix.

  • Use EQ, compression, and reverb effectively

The final step: prepare your music for release. Learn mastering basics and how to distribute on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and JioSaavn.

  • Understand loudness standards for streaming
  • Distribute music on streaming platforms
